Minori together with Maiori, is one of the most ancient village of the "Amalfi Coast".
Some historicals asset that Minori descended from Etruschian originis. But the beauty of this little village attracted many important tourists, especially rich families from the Roman Empire, who built a "Villa" which is well keptand still today, it is possible to visit and admire it.
Minori was full of people who made "home made pasta" long before the intervention of the technology and the rail, but still nowdays, there are a lot of housekeepers who devote themselves to the "culture" of home made pasta and with the work of their hands, are able to prepare fresh pasta like "Ricci", "Ndunderi", "Scialatielli" . . .that are served with sauces with sausages full of fennel, fillet of tomatoes with planty of basil, or afrodisiac sea fruit.
And it is just in this little part of paradise, near gardens full of "Sfusato Amalfitano" (the most important and tasty lemons in the world), that only in this wonderful part of Italy, grow, the Free Holiday, rental holiday house, has borne in 2001.
