We just returned to U.S.A. (Va) after a faulous trip to Italy. We are 2 couples
in our mid 60's who travel together and rent villas in different parts of
Europe. Our week at Free Holiday was spectacular and one our best memories. We
are so glad that we chose that villa and the village of Minori for our home base
while exploring the Amalfi Coast and that area (Pompei, Herculaneum, Paestum,
Salerno, Ravello, Positana, Amalfi, etc.). After visiting the other villages
along the coast, we found them to be too touristy and crowded and were always
glad to return to Minori and Free House. The villa had georgeous terraces with
magnificent views where we enjoyed many breakfasts and cocktail hours. The villa
was totally stocked with breadfast foods and practically everything we needed,
including bottles of wine! And the villa was immaculately clean. Antonio was a
wonderful host, who even loaned us his mobile phone during the week, and checked
with us periodically to see if there was anything we needed. He also recommended
a great restaurant in Minori that we went to more than once. And he even brought
us a parting gift of 2 bottles of wine on our last night. We definitely
recommend Free House and Antonio's hospitality. Would return in a heartbeat!

Me and my wife wanted to spend vacation with our friends we kept in touch from
primary school. We met in Rome and drove to Minori. This place was great. Big
enough for 6 people, with all necessary amenities to make us feel as it was our
own villa on the Coast of Amalfi. Antonio is a great host, and if his wive ever
makes a cake, you will never want to leave the place. There is no need to drive
a car, as the local boats and buses will take you anywhere you want to go.
Traffic can be scary, so it is a better way to travel anyway. If you like
spending time on the beach or in the water, visiting local villages, taking
pictures of breathtaking scenery, eat ice creams (yummmy) or just having
relaxing nap on the terrace in the shade of lemon trees, and don't want to break
the bank to have it all, this is definitively your place to stay.

We enjoyed everything about this place and were made very welcome. We felt like
we were living like locals and not tourists. Views were great and local
attractions were easily acceible. The steps to the beach will keep you fit but
there is a bus for the less able. Highly recommended..

We stayed here for 2 weeks in early September and had a magical time. The villa
is beautifully and tastefully appointed with all the space and amenities you
could want. The front and rear terraces - covered with canopies of Amalfi lemons
- were incredible with amazing views down to Minori. We loved swinging in the
hammock on the upper terrace at the rear with a glass of local limoncello.
Perfect place to explore along the Amalfi coast and Minori itself was
delightful. Our host, Antonio, became an instant friend with his welcoming and
relaxed style. We miss the place already and would love to go back.

The villa was stunning and it was lovely to sit on the sunny terraces in the
morning. The views are breathtaking and its only a short trip to a number of
sites on the Amalfi coast and easy to find your way to Pompeii or Naples.
Antonio was a wonderful host, very helpful and friendly - coming to meet us from
the airport at 1am after being delayed. I'd recommend the Free Holiday Villa to
anyone who would like to spend a relaxing time by the coast but doesnt mind a
little bit of exercise....

Watching again these days our holiday’s pictures, we remembered the splendid time we had at Free Holiday B&B in September 2007. From there we could easily walk to the cosy Minori and visited by scooter the entire gorgeous Amalfi coast. But, more than just the convenient location of this beautiful and relaxing place, we appreciated the familiar hospitality of Antonio: in fact, he arranged for our pick-up and return to the bus station, for our scooter rental and he was always available for a nice chat and for answering our requests. Each morning we enjoyed the rich and fresh breakfast, which we had in the beautiful garden on the hill with a superb view of Minori and the sea.

GFree Holiday is one of the nicest B & B's we stayed in during our 4-week Naples and Sicily trip, September 2006. It's situated in the village of Minori, on the Amalfi coast, which is far less frequented by international tourists than Amalfi or Positano. Far more relaxing, therefore. Beaches are great and if you have a car, you'll be in cute places like Amalfi or Ravello in no time.
The B&B, as well as its charming owner Antonio, are simply supercute. And according to their guestbook, we're not the only ones to praise. 3 clean rooms with stunning views and probably the best breakfast in the region. Not posh, just very cute. Recommended for young&old, but without small kids (or with a car), since you have to climb down 300 steps to reach the beach.
Oh, and while you're there, do go to restaurant L' Arsenale: the best fish you can imagine...I mean it..
